Under about 拢60 retail. Cask strength stuff is its own list for another day. Neat, always.

01
Ardbeg 10
the benchmark. campfire and lemon zest, still my go to when someone says they don't like whisky.
02
Laphroaig 10
love it or hate it and there's no middle setting. medicinal in the good way.
03
Laphroaig Quarter Cask
04
Kilchoman Machir Bay
young distillery, tastes like it grew up on the farm it's on. (cask strength) bottlings exist too but this standard one is the better value.
05
Bowmore 12
06
Talisker 10
coastal more than peaty honestly, the pepper finish is the real signature.
07
Ledaig 10
Tobermory's peated line, gets slept on constantly. probably the most underpriced bottle on this list.
08
Benromach Peat Smoke
09
Compass Box Peat Monster
blend not single malt so purists will complain, i don't care, it's good and it's cheap.
