The Sixth Sense
a magic trick of a movie - once you know the ending, every scene replays differently. second viewing is basically a clue scavenger hunt.

Mulholland Drive
first watch you're just confused. second watch, the back half recontextualizes everything before it and it stops being a mess.

how much they hide in plain sight about the narrator is kind of insane once you clock it.

the staircase shots and the class markers hit so much harder once you already know where the family ends up.

those opening ten minutes are doing something completely different than you think the first time. rewatch it and time it.
