🧵pdx thrift crawl, in the order that matters
hawthorne first thing before it's picked clean, montavilla midday, hollywood last for the restock. no cars needed if you're okay walking
01
Red Light Clothing Exchange (Hawthorne)
get here at open. by 1pm the good denim is gone, i've watched it happen
02
Buffalo Exchange (Hawthorne)
sell here on your way in, cash offer on the spot funds the rest of the day
03
House of Vintage (Hawthorne)
it's a mall, dozens of dealers under one roof. budget an hour minimum or you'll rush it
04
Village Merchants (Richmond)
05
Xtabay Vintage (Clinton St)
pricier and it's not really a thrift store, it's a boutique. go anyway for a special-occasion dress you'll actually wear
06
Wink Vintage (Montavilla)
60s/70s racks, small shop so it moves fast on weekends
07
Hollywood Vintage (Hollywood)
this is the one to save for last. everyone hits hawthorne first so this restocks while you're eating lunch elsewhere
Or start a list of your own. Free, it takes a minute.
