Everything on here comes off clean at move-out. Tested most of it in my own place before this one.

1
The load rating printed on the pack is real, don't cheat it. Also wait the full hour before hanging anything on them. (rental-friendly)
2
Command Picture Hanging Strips
Holds frames up to about 16 lbs in pairs. My biggest kitchen print has been up two years on these.
3
Tap-in pins grip the window trim, not the drywall. Only works if you have real wood trim, not vinyl.
4
Monkey Hooks
Leaves a hole about the size of a nail, which is basically nothing to fill when you move.
5
Fixed a cracked charger cable and a wobbly cabinet hinge with the same pack.
6
3M Command Cord Clips
Keeps cords off the floor behind the tv stand, comes off just like the hooks do.
7
Quake Hold museum putty
8
WD-40
not glamorous but a squeaky hinge or a stuck window is 90% of what actually goes wrong in an apartment
9
Peel-and-stick vinyl backsplash tile
covers an ugly rental backsplash for a weekend project and peels off without taking paint with it, mostly
10
Zip-It drain snake
Ten bucks and it's saved me from calling the landlord about a slow shower drain three times now.
11
A basic tension curtain rod for closets

Or start a list of your own — free, it takes a minute.
