everywhere Anthony Bourdain ate in Lyon with Daniel Boulud

Parts Unknown season 3, 2014. boulud brought tony back to his hometown, this is every place they actually sat down and ate on camera. some of it's an hour outside the city, worth it anyway

01
Reynon (2nd arrondissement)
the sabodet. tony and boulud went to learn how it's made, not just eat it
02
Institut Paul Bocuse (Écully)
yes it's a cooking school, but it has a real public restaurant. the poularde en vessie is what they made for tony
03
Le Café Comptoir Abel (2nd arrondissement)
04
Café Comptoir Brunet (2nd arrondissement)
franc-machon territory, a boozy lyonnais brunch that starts too early. blanquette de veau
05
Paul Bocuse / L'Auberge du Pont de Collonges (Collonges-au-Mont-d'Or)
book ahead, dress like it. truffle soup VGE and sea bass in pastry, still open last I checked
06
Maison Troisgros (Ouches, near Roanne)
an hour outside Lyon, not technically in it, but it's on the episode. salmon in sorrel sauce since the 60s
