tools on my wishlist once I stop buying seed packets on impulse
real prices, honest about which of these are actually needed vs just nice to have.
01
~$65. The answer to 'why do scissors cost that much' - mine will be six years old and still holding an edge, eventually.
02
~$60. I already own the Felcos, so this is pure duplication - Okatsune fans swear the Japanese steel takes a finer edge.
04
$33. My wrist after a spring of transplanting made the case for this one on its own.
05
Nisaku hori hori knife
~$25-30 depending where you find it. The one tool on this whole list I'd call actually needed, not wanted.
06
A real digging fork
07
Two-wheeled garden cart
08
Seedling heat mat
Would have saved three failed pepper starts last spring, bumping it toward the top of this list now.
09
Rain barrel off the shed downspout
10
Cold frame kit
Nice to have for the winter greens project, but honestly optional. Lowest priority here.
Or start a list of your own. Free, it takes a minute.
