馃摵IMDb's top rated tv chart, the current top 15
pulled from the live chart, ratings move week to week. as of Sep 2026.
01
Breaking Bad (2008)
still #1. no surprise
02
Planet Earth II (2016)
03
Planet Earth (2006)
watch this one before the sequel, not after
04
Band of Brothers (2001)
05
Chernobyl (2019)
held the #1 spot for a while before Breaking Bad took it back. a weird thing to argue about but people do
06
Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005)
the cartoon. not the movie, never the movie
07
The Wire (2002)
stop after season 4 if you truly must, but don't
08
The Sopranos (1999)
09
Blue Planet II (2017)
10
Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey (2014)
Tyson hosting, not Sagan
11
Cosmos: A Personal Voyage (1980)
the original. Sagan's own voice, dated visuals, doesn't matter at all
12
Our Planet (2019)
13
Game of Thrones (2011)
no spoilers here, you already know why it sits this low
14
Bluey (2018)
a kids show outranking half of hbo's catalog. make it make sense
15
The World at War (1973)
