weigh it before you buy the label

guessed light once, got charged the difference plus a fee. just weigh it

poly mailer for soft goods, box for anything structured

shipped a ceramic mug in a mailer. don't

double bag heavy denim

tape every seam, not just the flap

use tissue or an old shirt as filler, never newsprint

ink transfer onto a white top, buyer was not thrilled

poly bag anything white or light colored before it goes in the mailer

ship inside poshmark's 2 day window

miss it enough times and they start flagging your account

print the label full size

shrink-to-fit makes the barcode unscannable, USPS just prints you a new one at the counter anyway

fully cover old labels and barcodes on reused boxes

check the buyer's stated measurements before boxing

fit complaints are the worst kind of return, way worse than damage

photo the packed item before sealing

$4 btw is what a damage claim protection basically costs you in time if you skip this

mark international depop packages as merchandise, not gift

keep kraft tape on hand, plastic tape peels in the cold

drop it off same day, don't let it ride around in your trunk
