rule: still running 6 months later AND i cancelled the thing it replaced. weekend toys don't count

1
replaced google one 2TB. photo search is genuinely as good, face grouping slightly worse tbh
2
killed my 1password family plan. runs in 50mb of ram, absurd
3
Jellyfin
replaced plex pass which had replaced netflix. hardware transcode without paying for it
4
no sub killed, it killed the filing cabinet. ocr search on tax docs is magic
5
Navidrome
spotify canceller. the hard part was rebuilding the libary, not the server
6
feedly pro replacement. no ai features, thank god
7
Audiobookshelf
audible sub gone. the mobile app is better than audible's, not kidding
8
Home Assistant
9
dropbox replacement with zero server needed. it just moves files, ymmv if you want more
10
Uptime Kuma
11
ynab refugee. importing 4 years of history took a weekend, worth it
12
Mealie
13
FreshRSS
ran it before miniflux. it's fine, i just like miniflux's ugly ui more
14
Linkwarden
pocket died and took my bookmarks with it. never again
