📺shows cancelled too soon, ranked by how much it still hurts

in order of hurt, not release date. no reality tv, i don't have the constitution for that ranking.

Freaks and Geeks

one season, eighteen episodes, half the cast went on to run Hollywood for a decade. NBC never had a chance understanding it in 1999.

My So-Called Life

Firefly

Fox aired eleven of fourteen episodes, out of order. the pilot ran eleventh. that's the whole tragedy right there.

Terriers

thirteen episodes on FX and nobody watched it, mostly because the title made it sound like a dog show and not a detective show.

Pushing Daisies

Deadwood

at least this one got a movie in 2019 to close it out. thirteen years late but it counts.

Hannibal

Party Down

Starz brought it back for one more season in 2023, which almost makes up for the original cancellation. almost.
