🧠shows to fill the severance void
same itch, different scratch. corporate dread, doubles, mystery boxes that mostly pay off
01
Dark
keep a family tree open, not a joke. watch in german with subs, the dub is a crime
02
Devs
8 episodes and done. alex garland doing tech dread with the best score on this list
03
Counterpart
JK Simmons acting opposite JK Simmons. cancelled after 2 seasons but the ending mostly lands. nobody watched it and that haunts me
04
Mr. Robot
05
The Leftovers
s1 is homework, s2 is the payoff. once you hit International Assassin you'll get why people whisper about this show
06
Homecoming
season 1 only. the aspect ratio was doing severance things years before severance
07
Tales from the Loop
08
Maniac
09
black mirror
10
Utopia (UK version only)
channel 4, 2013. the most gorgeous paranoid thing british tv ever made. definitly avoid the amazon remake, this is the only one
11
amazon buried this. a sad spy folk-singing his classified feelings. the closest thing to severance's tone whiplash
12
The Prisoner (1967)
13
The OA
cancelled on a cliffhanger. enter at your own risk
14
