🥾Olympic trails I hike instead of fighting for a Hoh parking spot

Duckabush, Dosewallips, the Skokomish valley. Mount Storm King and the Hoh are incredible but I'm past pretending the crowds are fine.

01
Duckabush River Trail (to Five Mile Camp)
Old growth cedar and doug fir the whole way in. Two cars at the trailhead on a Saturday, which still surprises me.
02
Dosewallips River Trail
03
North Fork Skokomish River Trail (Staircase)
04
Flapjack Lakes
steeper than the mileage suggests and most people turn around at the river crossing. start early and you'll have the lakes alone.
05
Maple Glade Nature Loop
0.5 mi. RT and ADA accessible. Not a substitute for the Hoh but a good rainy-afternoon loop when I don't want the crowds.
06
Lake Constance Trail
brutal, unmaintained, gains 3400 ft in under 2 miles. that's exactly why nobody's up there. Bring a rope for the last pitch, seriously.
07
Humes Ranch Loop (Elwha River Trail)
