SF cafes that actually work for a full laptop workday

ranked by outlet access honestly, though I broke that rule for one of these

1
Andytown Coffee Roasters (Lawton St, Outer Sunset)
the og location. plenty of outlets along the window bar, gets loud on weekend mornings when the surf crowd rolls in
2
Saint Frank Coffee (Russian Hill)
small but calmer than you'd expect for the neighborhood. fewer outlets than andytown, grab a spot near the wall
3
Sightglass Coffee (7th St, SoMa)
upstairs mezzanine is the move, quieter and has its own outlets. downstairs gets a lunch rush that eats every table
4
Wrecking Ball Coffee Roasters (Cow Hollow)
5
Réveille Coffee Co (North Beach)
smaller footprint, good if you just need 2-3 focused hours rather than a whole day. can get loud once the tour groups find it
6
Ritual Coffee + General Store (Valencia)
worth flagging that this isn't the pure cafe it used to be, half the floor is retail now so seating is tighter than it was a year ago
7
skip: anywhere with a single big communal table and no outlets along it
sounds obvious but I keep making this mistake at new places, no outlets means everyone's fighting over the two seats near the wall by 11am

Or start a list of your own — free, it takes a minute.
